Meet  Leah Yazmer

Leah Yazmer holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wheelock College and brings over 17 years of professional experience working with children and families at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. Her extensive background includes supporting patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and across multiple outpatient clinics, providing developmentally appropriate interventions during times of stress, illness, and loss. Currently, Leah serves as a per diem Child Life Specialist at Yale, offering her expertise wherever needed throughout the hospital. In addition to her hospital work, she is dedicated to extending child life support into the community through her private practice as both a Certified Child Life Specialist and a Registered Wonders and Worries Provider. Leah resides in Madison with her husband, Devin, and their three children.
